Our First Year

We have completed our first year and it has been an interesting and productive year. As a baby church we are happy with our results as we grew and made an impact on the community.

February 26, 2012 was our launch date when we held an introductory meeting at Lander Valley Baptist Church and 20 people chose to become part of our Core Group. Over the year the Core Group has changed, but it has stayed strong and a vital part of the church growth.

Our first service was held Sunday, March 6, 2012.

	We held church in this chapel located at the Museum of the American West in Lander. From March thru October 2012. 536 sq. ft that held up to 30 people.
	Our First public event was First Sunday Singin' held in the Lander Senior Citizen's Center The first Sunday of May 2012. We have continued the event and in February 2013 took it on the road to other churches in Lander and Riverton, WY. We have live country/western gospel music and a Pot-luck supper.
	Our next event was a Trail Ride at Frye Lake, WY held over Father's Day weekend. Good food, good fellowship, lots of people and horses. We even had a week old mule colt along, the kids loved it. Next Trail Ride July 13, 2013

	Family Roundup was held July 22 and September 29, 2012. Twenty to thirty kids each time had a great time having their first experience on a horse. The next Family Roundups are Saturday, June 15 and Saturday September 14 in the Lander Old Timer's Outdoor Arena.
2012 Christmas Party
	We moved the church to 181 North Fork Rd. Lander on November 1, 2012. We held a Vetrans Day Armed Services Tribute on Nov. 11 in the garage, it was cold! We are in the process of remodeling the 32' x 48' garage into a church that will seat 50 - 80 people so we can grow.
	Until the remodel is complete church services arre being held in the 24' x 24' livingroom in the house on the property. Children's Church is also available.
